The MYLINE service will be terminated on a regional basis starting in January 2024 due to the transition of landline telephones (analog lines, INS Net) to an IP network.
After the service ends, its users will automatically be switched to the
calling service of their respective telephone companies based on their MYLINE registration status as of the end of June 2023.
Additionally, reception of new registrations and changes to MYLINE ended on November 30, 2023.
What About MYLINE Registration Fees?
To subscribe to the MYLINE or MYLINE PLUS service, or change the content of the service, the MYLINE registration fee ¥880 (including tax) is charged for each telephone number, per application.
(1) You are required to pay the MYLINE registration fee for each telephone number.
(2) You are required to pay the MYLINE registration fee every time you apply to the service or change the content of the service with a single telephone number.
(3) If you subscribe to the service in any or all of the calling categories or change the calling category/categories with one telephone number in one application, you are only required to pay ¥880 (including tax).
(4) When applying for the service in any of the calling categories at your telephone company, you may register another telephone company to use the service in a different calling category or categories, if you wish, at the former telephone company at the same time.
(5) To change the service from MYLINE to MYLINE PLUS or vice versa, you are also required to pay the MYLINE registration fee.
(6) The MYLINE registration fee will be included in a regular invoice issued by NTT East or NTT West.
(7) You don’t have to pay the MYLINE registration fee if you register a telephone company to use the MYLINE service at the same time when newly installing a telephone line or reactivating an inactive telephone line through NTT 116 (customer service) or at the service counter of your carrier.
What about Charges?
(1) There is no monthly fee for using MYLINE or MYLINE PLUS.
(2) Bills for calls dialed will come from the telephone company you use. Bills for the he monthly basic phone charge will come as usual from NTT East or NTT West.
