CHANGE OF THE DIALING ORDER OF
INTERNATIONAL CALLS

- The Old Dialing Order *1 Will Be Terminated at 2:00 AM on May 1, 2003 -

MYLINE Carriers Association

With the launch of MYLINE services on May 1, 2001, the new dialing order has become available, which requires you to add the prefix 010 to all international calls. Please note that the old dialing order*1 will be terminated at 2:00 AM on May 1, 2003.

From 2:00 AM on May 1, 2003 onward, only the new dialing order is available, which requires the addition of the prefix 010 to indicate that the call is international, as in 00XY (a telephone company's access code)*2 + 010 + country code + phone number. Please refer to the Attachment 1 for details of the new dialing order and the time of the change. For any international calls made by the old dialing order, the caller will hear an announcement by the international telephone company he/she is using that he/she should redial by the correct dialing order.

At present, you can register with MYLINE and MYLINE PLUS in the international calling category from the 11 telephone companies listed in the Attachment 2.

*1 The old dialing order: 00XY (a telephone company's access code) + country code + phone number.
*2 You don't have to dial the telephone company's access code if you have registered with MYLINE or MYLINE PLUS in the international calling category.

Important Points to Keep in Mind

o When you dial the prefixes 010 or 122, certain functions such as restrictions on outgoing calls and billing management may not work normally, depending on the type and settings of your telephone/communications equipment. For more information, please contact the manufacturer or the equipment maintenance company.
o You can dial automatic charge notification calls, operator-assisted calls, international collect calls, home country direct calls, credit card and prepaid card calls in the same way you always have.
o If you have registered with MYLINE PLUS but want to make a call via a telephone company different from the one you have registered, please dial the prefix 122 before that telephone company's access code to cancel MYLINE PLUS.

* 00XY is an access code of telephone company.
Remember, you must always dial your telephone company's access code before 010 if you have not registered with MYLINE or MYLINE PLUS services or if you are using a cell phone, PHS, or public telephone. Each telephone company has a different way of handling international calls from cell phones, PHS, or public telephones.
